The Gift of Life Foundation at the
New York Marriott Marquis with Chad Everett (National Spokesman), and hosted by
Deborah Norville (host of Inside Edition), The Holyfield Foundation at the China Club in
New York with former World Heavyweight Champion, Evander Holyfield and
Super Middleweight Champion, Iran Barkley. James Dower, (The Projekt's keyboardist)
performed with recording star, Ne-Yo, on The Late Show, and a
Special 70's Theme Party for the YES Network featuring members of THE PROJEKT in
appropriate attire to suit this unique affair. THE PROJEKT also performed at the newly multi-million-dollar renovated
Marina Del Ray in New York with an incredible light show for New Years Eve.
Our other accomplishments include the theme song for MTV's #1 hit show, The Osbournes,
with THE PROJEKT's very own Lewis La Medica singing the lead.
We were also featured on CABLEVISION NEWS12.
Cookie Gonzalez-Kurtz and other members of THE PROJEKT
were also featured in People Magazine, (June 22, 1998).
We have performed at Lincoln Center for Continental Airlines
and played for New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani at a tribute to senator and astronaut John Glenn
at the Museum of Natural History. We also enjoyed performing at the press party atNew York's Yankee Stadium.

THE PROJEKT was founded in 1995. Our members have all had either club, wedding or party band experience.
Our goal was to form a band that would accurately represent the music it was covering at all times.
We didn't want to sound like other groups with a typical "wedding band sound"...
THE PROJEKT offers a fresh, full and hip sound from its' very talented singers and musicians while using the latest in technology.
THE PROJEKT offers a 7, 8, 9, 10, or 11-piece band, always using the same group of musicians and singers.
While other bands specialize in only certain types of music...
in THE PROJEKT, almost everyone sings lead with varying styles; covering all of our material with absolute perfection!
